Lab Results & COAs
Every product independently tested by accredited labs for potency, purity, pesticides, and heavy metals.
Why Lab Testing Matters
At The Haze Connect, every product we sell is independently tested by a third-party, accredited laboratory before it reaches our shelves. We publish every Certificate of Analysis (COA) so you can verify exactly what you're consuming — no guesswork, no trust-me claims, just data.
In the hemp industry, lab testing is the single most important indicator of product quality and safety. A COA tells you what's in the product, how potent it is, and whether it's free from harmful contaminants. If a brand can't show you lab results for the specific product you're buying, that should raise a red flag.
What Our COAs Test For
Cannabinoid Potency
Every COA includes a full cannabinoid profile showing THCA, Delta-9 THC, CBD, CBG, CBN, and other cannabinoid levels. This confirms that our products meet the federally compliant threshold of less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC by dry weight under the 2018 Farm Bill, and that potency matches what we advertise.
Terpene Profile
Terpenes are the aromatic compounds that give each strain its distinct flavor and contribute to its effects. Our terpene testing verifies the natural terpene content in our flower, pre-rolls, and live resin vapes.
Contaminant Screening
Each batch is screened for pesticides, heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury), residual solvents, mycotoxins, and microbial contaminants. Any product that fails contaminant testing is rejected — no exceptions.
How to Read a COA
Not sure how to interpret a Certificate of Analysis? Here's what to look for:
- Sample name: Confirms which product was tested
- Batch/lot number: Matches the product you received
- THCA %: Primary cannabinoid percentage for flower and vapes
- Delta-9 THC %: Must be below 0.3% by dry weight for Farm Bill compliance
- Total cannabinoids: Combined cannabinoid content
- Pass/Fail indicators: Contaminant panels should all show "Pass"
- Lab name and accreditation: Confirms the testing facility is certified
Our Testing Standards
We test every batch — not just a representative sample from the first harvest. Our testing protocols include a full cannabinoid potency panel (17+ cannabinoids), terpene profiling, pesticide screening (60+ compounds), heavy metals analysis, residual solvents testing, and microbial and mycotoxin screening. All testing is performed by independent, ISO-accredited laboratories with no financial relationship to The Haze Connect.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I see the COA before I purchase?
Yes. Every product page includes a Lab Results tab where you can view and download the COA as a PDF before purchasing.
How often do you update COAs?
COAs are updated with every new batch. When we receive a new shipment of any product, it is tested before being listed for sale.
What happens if a product fails testing?
It doesn't make it to our store. We have a zero-tolerance policy for products that fail any portion of our testing panel.
Who performs your lab testing?
We work with independent, ISO 17025-accredited testing laboratories. The lab name and accreditation information is listed on every COA we publish. Have questions? Contact our team and we'll walk you through any COA.
