Kansas applies a total-THC standard (delta-9 + 0.877 x THCA ≤ 0.3%) under K.S.A. 2-3901 et seq. and separately bars smokable hemp — buds, flower, hemp cigarettes, cigars, and teas — from retail sale. Because typical THCA flower both exceeds 0.3% total THC on heating and is a prohibited smokable format, THCA flower is effectively illegal in Kansas.
