Pure Michigan is a GMO (Garlic Cookies) x Mendo Breath cross bred by Exotic Genetix. It's a dense, frosty, gas-heavy indica, and it is about as heavy as anything we carry. We grow it indoors, hand-trim it, and send every batch to an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited third-party lab for total cannabinoid potency, terpene profile, and a full safety panel.

Where it comes from

Both parents are heavyweights. GMO (Garlic Cookies) is the pungent, garlic-forward indica behind a lot of long couch sessions, with a gas-dominant terpene profile. Mendo Breath is an OG-leaning cross of OGKB and Mendo Montage that brings creamy vanilla and sweet caramel underneath.

Put together, you get a bud that smells like a kitchen and a dessert at the same time. Garlic, gas, and earth on the nose, butterscotch on the exhale.

Smell and taste

The terpene profile leads with caryophyllene (pepper, spice, gas) and limonene (citrus, sweet), with myrcene (earthy, mango) behind them. The smoke is thick. Gas and garlic up front, sweet earth in the middle, vanilla cream and a little pepper at the end.

How it hits

This is a real heavy indica. Body relaxation usually shows up within 10-20 minutes. At higher doses it turns into couch-lock, and the heavy eyelids arrive 60-90 minutes in. There's a mild mental haze, so it is not a strain for getting things done. It also brings a strong appetite. From peak it runs long, typically 3-4 hours.
